As promised, here is a brief rundown of our first experience as writers at Artist Alley at Fan Expo Boston 2026! My husband and I, like Fan Expo Philadelphia 2026, almost reached 100 book sales!!! The Poet and The Magician had sold out once again, even after bringing more copies!
We had a wonderful spot next to other Artist Alley attendees and met equally wonderful people. Good booth neighbors truly make a comic con experience. The convention itself was easy to navigate, perfectly cooled, and constantly moving. While we did not see any of the celebrity guests, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
This time around, I brought my handmade beaded and wire bracelets, which had mixed success, and PVC toys, which absolutely brought people over to take a closer look! We did apply for next year and received the official email that we have been accepted! Books & Poetry by Jennifer Renson and Ben Chiappetta are returning for 2027!
We hope to have new books, one from each of us, completed and published by then, so stay tuned on here and my socials for more information.
